In high school involved in everything. I was an officer or a member of almost every club and at every athletic event. I like to be busy, I like to be social. So this being said, the idea of even more opportunities being available to me is nothing short of exciting. However, I must admit that going from being a big fish in a small bowl to being an average fish in a huge aquarium is a little intimidating.
Trying to pick what to join is just an unfair question. My opportunities are endless but my time isn't. My goal is to sift through the organizations that I'm interested in and find which ones I'm truly passionate about. Now if I put my time into something, I want it to mean something to me. Club soccer is starting to look more and more appealing. Everyday i spend away from it I seem to miss it more, to the point I am kicking cans like a soccer ball.

Blog 1: History of Carolina and Carolinian
My story is a long and occasionally interesting one. I hail from the lush fields and the rich culture of Burlington, North Carolina where at any moment a snapshot of American life can be taken. I owe what I am and my memories to my experiences in Burlington. So despite how often and harshly I used curse it for being so lame on a slow Friday night or a hectic Monday morning, I love Burlington.
But now I have reached a new chapter -- one that I believe is entitled: Where am I? What time is my Class again? and there is no way I locked myself out of the room again -- a fair and appropriate title. My adventures have been plentiful, hectic, and at times rated PG-13, but I already wouldn't trade my situation for the world. However, I will say that I am slightly confused by how much Halo my roommate can play.
